I'm looking for Batman stories where Bruce Wayne realizes how much of a selfish faggot he is: that if he cared about Gotham city, he would stop prancing around as a giant faggotty bat and invest in public institutions that have a better chance at lowering crime rates in the long run.

Are there are any Batman comics that deal with this? Where Bruce Wayne has to come to terms with the fact that he's an emotionally stunted man who took his self-prescribed role-playing therapy too far?
