Sup /co/mmies? I've been reading some hold school Heavy Metal mags and i was thinking about getting a subscription. Is it worth picking up, how does it compare to the original stuff ?

Haven't really heard anything good about the new issues, or much at all to be honest.

On a semi-related note, I love that cover so much, to the point that I occasionally consider framing the issue I have of it.

I met the owner of Heavy Metal at Wizcon in Tulsa. He's just reselling a lot of the same old stuff. He told us about how he had lunch with William Shatner and told him it was cool that he got away with killing his wife.

Nope I met Jeff Krelitz. Who bought most of the magazine in 2014.
My buddy was chatting him up and we were just chatting for a while. He said he was the owner, that he had just bought it. Told all sorts of cool stories. Lou Ferrigno was just a few feet away at one point talking to the owner of the booth next to the HM booth.
