The ending to Plague Dogs is powerful as fuck and I still remember it vividly despite not having it watched it for years, can't even remember the ending to watership down

I think it depends more on what country you're in

Watership down would be obscure in the USA and non english speaking parts of the world while Brits, Irish, Australians, New Zealanders and maybe Canadians or Europeans would be much more familiar with it

I liked both. What I loved about WD more was the additional world building stuff like the mythology the rabbits had. But both movies (and the books) were nice.
