Been reading up on Spawn after I quit when Al killed himself all those years ago.
Can you guys enlighten me about this shit? I think they're plot holes or a soft reboot, but you'd know better than me:

Jim is dead, but can come back like AL (since his soul is a special snowflake)
Al/Jim's suit was always a symbiote and yet, now they're saying it's all the souls of those whom AL killed?
God and the devil are here as if they never left...But Al sent them to a pocket dimension/wherever the fuck they wouldn't be able to return.
