I only knew her superficially... the most I did was draw a mouse and a hole on her wall and a giant monster across her ceiling when she lived in her grandma's attic.
I went back on her Tumblr and Twitter account. She mentions me in one of her first tweets. My ex had deleted her Twitter, so it doesn't link to it anymore. I also seem to have confirmed that she doesn't associate with my ex anymore and that my ex not seeing her for last couple years of our relationship was truly the end of their friendship.
My guess is that my ex just got way too crazy and whatnot for Lauren to handle. At the time, Lauren was going through a lot of shit with her roommate whom she rented some space in the attic to -- she was getting that person evicted and there was a bunch of shit about drugs and whatnot being dealt with. My ex was a very confused individual who, by the end of our relationship, had confessed she was a lesbian after 5 years together and apparently had shacked up with one of her father's friends and found Jesus. I suspect Lauren cut contact with her after she became a devout Christian (if she stuck to religion, that is). Lauren uses "crispy" as an adjective for someone in one of her tweets -- this was an adjective my ex gf and her invented to describe religious zealots.
Lauren was diagnosed with bipolar disorder sometime near the end of my relationship with my ex. If I remember correctly, Lauren had tried to commit suicide and her family had her committed. There, she was diagnosed and she improved after that.
I don't know if she ever moved out of her grandma's apartment or whether she managed to escape the squalor and filth she lived in.
