Design-wise, I wanted something that took a bit from all sorts of Spidey suits; I wanted classic colors with a bit from both the Superior and Ben Spidey suits, and a more prominent spider symbol, like Gerry Drew's Spidey suit. The blue areas used to be two-tone, with a more muted blue and a brighter blue, but then someone suggested that the blue stay all one uniform color. I left the bluish grey-black on the gloves and feet alone, but with the rest of the blue a single color, it felt much more uniform and looked way better.
