WB is in J.K. Rowling's pockets, why haven't they tapped her to do a comic for DC? Maybe not even something based on an existing character or even set in the Harry Potter universe, but allow her to create and draft a miniseries.
She's finished writing three movies and a play, and comic writing is a lot closer to script writing than it is to writing an actual book.
Plus, both Neil Gaiman and Stephen King (him being a friend of hers) have both done comics, so it's not like it's beneath her.
