I mean, she has told MJ more than once, that if she ever did something to fuck up what she had with her husband Peter, Felcia would be right there for Peter on the rebound. First time she said it, it was during the time where she was actively trying to get back with Peter, and she was just a BIT unhinged. Next time she said it, it was way later. Like... sometime during the '06 Sensational Spider-Man run, iirc, or during one of the Civil War tie-in books. I forget the specific issue. In that instance, MJ was being pretty vindictive and more than a bit insecure.
Anyway... I'm a fan of the Peter/MJ relationship, but I will say that Peter was the best thing to happen to Felicia.
Compare her early appearances to how she was written during the '04 Marvel Knights run. It's AMAZING how much she'd grown as a character in that time.
Which is all the more frustrating to see how poorly she's been handled since OMD and Slott's bullshittery.
