So in a world where Marvel not only values social and internet bonus points with more diverse characters, to the point where they've replaced more originals with more newer characters (whether or not it's organically or well executed or not; this isn't about that) and have had their most recent 'EVENT" basically an over-blown reason to bring Miles into the main Marvel U (and kill the FF).... I have to ask, where's the War Machine push? Rhodey is arguably their second-most character of color behind Black Panther in the comics, and unquestionably the most recognizable currently due to the MCU. I know they gave him a shot a few years ago with Marvel NOW! but that was shoe-horned into Iron Patriot, a gimmick that even the movies dropped hard. War Machine has always been a personal favorite of mine since the 90s cartoon, so I gotta ask... why waste the opportunity? If they actually gave a shit and pushed it half as hard as they're pushing Inhumans, with WM being the only black Avenger come Civil War you'd think that all the buzz would generate at least as many sales as a fucking pregnant Spider-Woman.

Or is Rhodey just not a viable IP?
