Is SW at least going to finish this year?
Still have yet to be wowed by this event.
Hickman's entire Avengers run and this has just been more and more build up, I'm ready for it to end.

I'd normally agree with you but secret wars has been one of the best events in quite a while (at least from marvel, DC is often far better with events)

The thing is with DC it usually seems like they focus on the story before deciding it'll be their big event instead of vice versa.

Marvel also focuses in the story before deciding it will be their big event. The problem is that they always end up destroying the story by forcing all the stuff an events need into it. Stories like AXIS or Fear Itself were supposed to be just another arc in one ongoing of their creators. I remember reading once that even Spider-Island and Black Vortex almost turned into events before someone shot them down into mini events.

I took a break from reading comics right before Secret Wars started up. I read the confusing bits of Avengers and New Avengers showing the backwards countdown, and saw the part where it came down to Thor and Hyperion fighting against an army of god robot things to finally watch as Doom beat down a bunch of adult Beyonders and restart everything...

Anyway I think I'm ready to get back into it, does anyone know where I can get everything Secret Wars related and afterwards? I need to catch up... god help me.

Read the main secret Wars book thats still going
Most of the side events suck, so skip them.
Invincible Iron Man sort of spoils the end of of SW, but I'd stay far away from Bendis
