It only didn't do it justice because the book is terrible and gross.

Otherwise yeah, I'd hang with Roger over people who loved Kick Ass. I can talk about Ozu with Ebert.

Ebert was saying that it doesn't matter how accurate to the source material a movie is if that movie ends up being shit anyway. I didn't think Kick-Ass was a bad movie but I agree with the concept he's bringing up.

Kick-Ass 2 was absolute dogshit though.
