While Beast Wars is indeed far better than the G1 cartoon that isn't saying much. The first season had some really good episodes but also some DREADFULLY BAD ones including one that ends on a fart joke. Really though it doesn't hit its stride until the second season.

Season 3. My headcanon ending. "Punished" Leonardo was unbearable in season 4 and nothing much happened in it and filler was shit. Season 3 was straight to action and had great filler.

Because it wasn't necessary? What would they even do with him? He didn't have divine powers like in the comics so they couldn't adapt the other stories featuring him. This version of the character wasn't even really a villain, he was just a botched clone that didn't like the turtles snooping around his hideout.

I liked this song as a kid and I think it holds up pretty well, the inanity of "Na-na-na-na-ninja Ninja Turtles" instead of just "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" aside. But yeah, the new song I think was made specifically for the Shout Factory DVDs because they lost the rights to this'n somehow.

Even the theme song is just a remixed new version of the 80s theme, with a more rap-rock cadence to its lyrics. Except for the chorus, which everyone knows is the best part of the song anyway. It's okay if you prefer it, but ranking the original version on the opposite end of the spectrum from the derivative version is just intellectually dishonest.
