And then, as shown in Multiversity, ALL of the New Gods went to a higher plane, and in the Nu52, we've seen mere fragments of their beings shattered and scattered throughout the Multiverse. A tiny piece of Darkseid took all that to be destroyed, and that tiny piece has been admittedly used by Johns and the E-2 shmucks as a cheap plot device, but I'm still loving Darkseid War and I know that it doesn't diminish that Darkseid Is.
