well the prequels were mine in the sense that they were the first one's I saw in theater obviously, but my parents raised me on the originals and those are the one's I grow up watching over and over before the prequels came out, so technically the OT is my star wars since that's where I started.

Incorrect. Finn is too ugly to be Han. Oscar Isaac has a far more alpha look. He's gonna be the cocky pilot in this movie.

And there have been far shittier lightsabers in the old EU. The old crossguard sabers did look like shit, Kylo's is the only one that actually looks good.

It just doesn't make sense. The emitters can be cut off, making the beams coming out of them useless. If someone says they're made of cortosis, why not make the whole crossguard out of cortosis? A crossguard is a piece of metal that protects your hand, it's not a blade. If it had a cortosis crossguard, it would look much better. And you can't stab yourself with it.
