Hello /co/ I just got back into comics after about a 10 year hiatus and I've discovered this boards few week ago.

I have noticed that alot of people on this board seem to have some sort of disdain for diversity in the comics industry, some even going as far as using the term SJW.

I wanted to know, for those who do have gripes with this, why do you have a problem with this?

Is it that you are a purist and are against race/sex changes of your favorite heroes?

Is it because it seems like they are pandering and its just forced in?

Or is it that the writing of this new diversity initiative is just shit and boring?


I've seen some people go into frothing lunacy of the state of "SJW" comics and was just wondering because they get mad without an explanation.

Personally as a black guy I thought it was cool that they have this diversity, like I had fun and thought it was cool that batwing and miles are out there. Yet on the other hand I find Sam Wilson cap boring and what marvel is doing with their line up seems very inorganic and forced.
