Thoughts? I think the action, music and voice acting looks good. I like the interpretation of Bernardo, and Zorro's laugh is great.

Comedy maybe not so much.

Twincest imminent.

Also Zorro general I guess. Is Generation Z good?

No, he's at least partly in the public domain since his first story was published before 1923 (stuff made before 1923 is automatically public domain). The 1920 Mark of Zorro film is also public domain. However the 30's and 40's stuff is still under copyright. And of course every other form of media after.

Arguably he should be. But you'd have to stick to a limited number of Zorro stories; just "The Curse of Capistrano", "The Further Adventures of Zorro" and the 1920 Mark of Zorro film. Zorro Rides Again and Zorro's Fighting Legion might be public domain but they came out in the 1930's and I can't say for sure how true the info is until I look it up.

But it could be a situation similar to Tarzan where only a number of stories are PD but the Burroughs estate tries to keep ahold of the trademark. Sherlock Holmes is easier to use because most of his stories are PD and the court recently ruled against Doyle's estate. However, Doyle's estate still has the rights to ten stories so you have to avoid things introduced in those 10 Sherlock stories.
