We get one throw away line where they say that the government is considering the Hulks arrest, meanwhile compare to man of steel where we see that the army is spying on him, the government summons him to be put on trial and people around the world having mixed feelings in general.

Not even half of poor reviewers actually fairly reviewed it on its own merits and flaws.

1.) They didn't give almost any valid criticisms of the film making or storytelling, 80% of complaints are that it was not the film they wanted it to be, that does not make it flawed for not pandering to the majority any more then Batman 1989 is flawed for not pandering to fans of the Adam west Batman or Nolan for not Pandering to fans of Batman & Robin.
A large number of viewers dismiss the entire film because to them NO MATTER WHAT, Superman should not be serious and should not kill, they will not give it the time of day
because they will not let go of their biases.

2.) My favorite comic characters are Cap and Thor, I prefer marvel comics most of the time, I have Zero loyalty to DC.

People really think they can deflect criticism against DC movies by talking about Marvel? Can't we just analize them independently?

DC movies are very weird to say the least: they say they will tackle more serious tones but they will never do that in fear of creating rejection of the major public. The DC cinematic universe will never take off like this.

Nop. Nola represented heroes like symbols and knew what it meant to people. In MoS the intervention on snyder and goyer crippled this idea behind the movie. For example wanting supa to fight zod instead of sending zod to the phantom zone. Nolan knew superman qas a symbol of hope, the man who always find a way. And he was against some cheap fight for climax. MoS deserved him like a director not a hack like snyder.

No its not, because the majority of reviewers had extreme biases against it before and after viewing it. Against Snyder for Watchmen/SP, against anyone trying to do a serious toned Superman film, Against Superman killing and Against anyone not doing the generic campy bullshit the Reeves films did.

Not pleasing the people that the film was not made for and never intended to please has no bearing on its quality.

Batman 1989 was never meant to please fans of Adam west that does not make it flawed, Begins was never meant to please fans of B&R that does not make it flawed.

Superman finding a way is bot mary sue bullshit. All he need it was being able to send Zod and the crew to the phantom zone. But instead we got a pointless fight because snyder and goyer aee not able to grasp the character in a level beyond superficial. The original script of nolan was landed on a realistic setting just like the final movie (realiatic as you can in a place where some dude can fly thanks to the sun radiation). But it's pointless to mention this because you think superman always finding a way and the original ending meant clark being perfect and without flaws

Not pointless if your recall that a KEY complaint about Returns was no fighting, they had to Improve on the fights Superman 2 gave us, Its setting up major parts of BVS, and the fight itself was fantastic and its end was emotionally powerful.

We already had a fight in krypton and kansas. Returns had major problems besides having almost no action speaking of setting bvs. Kind of lame the consequences are made for a sequel years after the original. Which the ending was clark going happy to work instead of dealing with the fact he killed a man and the city being afraid a long with the reconstruction. It makes the movie incomplete and needs a sequel to stand on his own.
The fight was far from being emotionally powerful. It actually felt weird, clark killed the last hope of krypton and zod was angry because of this. Did clark just did what zod wanted on earth? Killing a race so another could live?
Clark never looking tired or afraid but always with a bland face not caring about what is around him. Like when zod launch a truck to a building a clark just stare at zod and let the truck destroy the building
This wasn't batman vs the joker in tdk or against bane.
It was a lame climax for the sake of action
