Is it just me or do Spider-Man's movie and TV adaptation always get sad endings?
>90's cartoon: Spider-Man embarks on a quest to find MJ, which will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
>Unlimited: The Symbiotes are about to take over Counter-Earth. Peter, John and Eddie never got back to Earth.
>New TAS: Pete is tricked into causing serious harm to indy which causes him to give up being Spider-Man
>Raimi Trilogy: Harry dies, Peter kinda accidentally kills Eddy, Peter refuses to forgive Sandman and he doesn't seem to get along with MJ anymore.
>Spectacular: Norman fakes his death and Harry selfishly uses that to steal Gwen from Peter.
>AMS series: Gwen dies and Pete spends five months mourning before getting back into action.
