Yeah, the art gets really questionable in this run. Some of those faces are just awfully malformed.

Goddamn it, they're fucking up the characters more than Johns did with Blackest Night.

+ Zoom's army is a very cool idea. I hope they are not only staying for an arc like Manapul/Booch did for Speed Force survivors at the beginning.
+ Thawne's design is cool.
+ Wally saving the day

Bad

- Art sucks
- New costume needs to go
- Eobard's powers are Zolomon's and that's bullshit.
- Starting to kill SF gang already
- Wally West storyline is too consistent to make even sense at this point. They completely changed the character from his initial introduction but it's a little too late. He's fucking 12 morons, no amount of "he's a prodigy" can save your asses. Wally doesn't matter to DCU anymore.
- Story is boring and Thawne doesn't make sense. It's so obviously done for gimmicks, it's insulting.
- I fucking hope Flash being a menace is only for this arc. He's not Spider Man or Batman, he's loved by Central city that's the part of his character. Stop making him a generic superhero and write something creative for once!

No it doesn't. Flash has been on a downtrend for awhile and has bottomed out at mid 30k sales. Sales can only be described as significantly worse since Venditti came on.

At this point it's literally just the constant Flash fanbase who buys it regardless of quality (like how Bart's run was selling 50K despite being complete garbage).

Wally is beyond saving, unless other writers take care of him after he becomes Kid Flash. Hell, just give a bit of him to Lobdell and TT. DC's worst mistake is that crossovers happen only in Batbooks and sometimes within one writer's continuum (Sinestro&Lobo). Though they've been putting a lot of Aquaman around, strangely enough.
