>>77048044Again, you're delegating cartoons to children. Children have no recourse when it comes to their entertainment, they do whatever their parents allow them to do. They'll watch TV and want what's on TV, it's mostly a static market. However, kids are watching less TV.
This leaves producers with one option: bring in more viewers. They do that by finding an audience and giving them what they want. Turns out, the audience wants better shows, with more substance. This is no doubt because of the audience shifting demographics to include older viewers. The audience also includes specific groups: SJWs, tumblr users, reddit users, among many others. One paticular audience, SJWs and tumblr, are very vocal and active. This is undeniable.
This entire thread has been about the tumblr/sjw audience influence in cartoons. They want simple, uncomplicated characters designs that they can draw and upload on the internet to share and talk about with their friends. They don't want "problematic" things in their shows, and will vehemently blog about them when it happens. They want "progressive" things instead and will reward the network with good press and extra publicity when they comply.
It's clear to see that networks cater to the sjw/tumblr audience above some others, because of the trends in cartoons today. That's fair, it brings them money. However, catering to ANY audience above others will introduce stagnation, which is all anyone here has been against. Additionally, you're a fucking faggot and should leave the site because you clearly don't get the idea of anonymity.
