Pinnochio is the best animated movie of all time. One could argue Snow White as well. Not saying beuty and the beast is bad, its just hard to live up to the absolute masterpiece that is Pinnochio. That said my favorite Disney movie is Robin Hood, so what the fuck do I know.

Also, honestly, I almost wish it was. Beast's human form was more hideous and I feel the story is a bit more poignant if Belle is perfectly happy being with him even if forever stuck as a beast.
