Which is one of the reasons I fucking avoided Fight Club 2 like the plague. The movie ending with the holding hands and explosions and
"You met me at a strange time in my life" and the books' ending with the mental hospital and talking to "god" about how we're neither special snowflakes nor pieces of shit, we just are, those are solid endings and I don't want to revisit the series with a "LOL NEVERMIND".
