If we're talking about the 70's through the 90's, Adamantium is hands down the stronger of the two metals. Wakandan vibranium was a bit tougher than steel but had the sound absorbing property. Antarctic vibranium was far softer than that but had the "metals liquify in its presence" property, which didn't work on either Adamantium or Wakandan vibranium.
70's through 90's Adamantium would stand up to Thor striking it full force with his hammer. In every case. Hulk couldn't break it, but he could dent it.
Now, if we're talking mid 90's on through to current times, it's 'fucking I don't know' because the writers could care less about previous continuity, especially with the mess that the movie makers made with the metals and what they were supposed to do.
