What does /co/ think of Bojack? I binge-watched the whole 2 seasons and now I'm depressed as fuck. To be honest I'm not even sure if I like the show or not, I can't feel much of anything right now.

I dunno, I guess it's how much I related to the main character. I share a lot of his main flaws, so naturally I wanted to see a happy ending for him. Which is rare for me, because I usually like dark humor. But this one hit way too close to home for me.

Also, not really new, I just never really see any threads about it.

This show holds a special place in my heart as it's the only show that ever really disappointed me. It does a good job of having some fairly intense scenes of emotion but the build up is as bad as family guy.

There were some solid lines and ideas like the "no deep down" line or the honesty in bojack never reaching out to his director friend who's job he destroyed. It's all fucking solid and goes further than most shows do in different directions than most shows would. Then bang I have to sit through fucking continuity jokes? Or how about a joke about people being animals? This is fucking pathetic, I'm fine with humor in between but they don't even fucking try.

I find it more uplifting than depressing myself. The end of S2, with him rescuing Todd, was strangely moving. A Best Friend is what Bojack needs.

I think it's great, but it never really depressed me at all. Then again I'm the kind of guy that watches depressing shit to feel better so idk.

I just wish we didn't have to wait so long for Season 3.
