I believe his run on Phantom is one of the best runs of the past few years. There's a lot writers can learn from it, from giving you main character an actual personality and to so well show his internal struggles is, to create an interesting supporting cast and to use other existing ones to your advantage by having them guest star and show how large the universe is. And then to collaborate with your artist so well, Fernando Blanco was phenomenal on it, he could draw such emotion in his characters. His art style is great but it's his ability to show restraint that really comes out, there's a lot of people that draw pretty pictures in the industry today, there's also many that use gimmicky layouts to hits their flaws, but not many understand what storytelling really means.
