MFW Jack Kirby designed a female Thor way begfore modern marvel. What is this, anyone got info or sauce? And why didn't they use this cover to make the What If Jane Foster was Thor?

The reason this one is garbage is that Aaron pulled from the Red Hulk brand of legacy. Keeping her identity a secret was the single worst thing he could have done for the character.

The reveal happened in issue 8. Issue 8 was the last issue of Thor. The relaunch doesn't happen until December. How is there supposed to be improvement when her comic is on hiatus?

Aaron hasn't written her since the Thor 8 and the reveal happened on the last page of Thor 8. The only other person whose written her since then has been Hickman, who has given her all of one line.
