This is it, the episode of Tom & Jerry that had my pre-school innocent years traumatized forever.
I remember being 5, having that episode on a VHS tape along with some Hanna-Barbera ones. I will never forget the very first time that I watched the scene where Jerry disguises himself as a ghost...all the reverb, blaring horns, theremin, xylophones, and sound effects that sounded like they were from a futuristic Japanese anime.
Years later, I rewatched that episode on Boomerang and I realized that there was much more horror in it besides music and SFX. The gags are horrible and so is the animation. In a way, this episode is like the stinky, alcoholic and pedophile cousin of the "Fraidy Cat" episode - creepy and disturbing.
If you want your child to live a normal life without mental meta-traumatic issues later on his life, please avoid this abomination.
