>>6520352Not just me, bro. You probably hear that because that particular boner killer it's in A LOT of TG stories. Simmer down, bud.

>>6520607Those premises are different than what the other guy was posting, since he wants the protagonist to be choose his own timeframe and to have no fear of the change becoming permanent.
>>6520669I suppose those can work, but again, the lack of pressing outer conflict kind of undermines those internal questions a bit. All of that feels more potent and urgent if the character is prevented from just switching back; the character always has the option of just sidestepping the conflict by transforming back.
The internal, questioning themselves further angle would work, but then it's rooted more in actual transgenderism, with all the real world messiness that can entail.
Just writing the transformation itself as prose is totally valid! Definitely agree. However, the best TG works, I've found, have at least some plot structure to keep readers engaged and interested from one lewd scene to the next. OHaV, High School Girls, etc. Personally, I find the transformations and changes more satisfying when they happen to at least somewhat established characters because we actually see the full extent of the changes for ourselves, from before the transformation to the end. You can't really do that without the set up a plot provides.
All personal preference either way, of course.
