I think I saw some glass blowers in here.
For a project I need a custom sized glass tank as shown in the picture. It can't have silicon seams because those are likely to fail with the stuff I'll put in there.
So before I go to a local glasblower and make a fool out of myself I thought I'd ask here what price I'd have to expect for a custom piece like that.

Ive been currently looking into making a tiny christmas light sized plasma "ball" Im not sure if this is even possible though, as Im mostly finding 3" seems to be as small as anyone makes them, theres whispers of a few floating around that are smaller but not as small as I want, and from the sounds of it they died really quickly.
Is it possible? Would it burn out too quickly, could I run it from batteries? how many would I need as im trying to make this as portable and compact as possible? Any help is appreciated in advance.

So my work headphones are damaged and i cant afford a new pair or replacement cable (i cant find one other than the oem one that works anyway)
the jack lead is bent (someone hit it with their knee while it was plugged in and it somehow bent it pretty good)

Thinking of making a skirt out of some fabric I've had lying around for a while. Pic related, similar kind of fabric colour-wise. The boats on the fabric I have are bigger and more detailed, and are in red.

Would this material work well for a circle skirt? If I dolled it up a bit with a lace trim or something? Thoughts?
