As for myself, I started selling decorated liquor bottles, which I get for free from work. I have been pretty successful at my last farmer's market, though my stand was pretty roughshod. My grey goose Christmas lamp was a hit, but I'm not at the point where I can live on this, and quitting my job means I would no longer have access to the bottles obv. So now I'm trying to think of something else I could make instead.

I was doing it as a hobby for a while just because it's kinda fun, then started selling once people started seeing pieces that I'd given away as gifts because they wanted another/wanted one to give/etc.

As many as I can keep up with.
I've a web presence (the big hitters of the social network scene: FB, IG, Tumbler, Twitter -- get something that lets you update all of them at once. Your life will be much simpler and I do Youtube Tutorials as well...oh and BE ON PINTEREST IF YOU HAVE CRAFTS YOU'RE TRYING TO SELL). I also have my own website that I offload customers to my etsy store/ebay listings if they want to order online...supposedly implementing online stores is fairly painless now, but I just really don't want to deal with that kind of risk.

The big secret here is don't overcommit shit. Like if you've something on ebay, don't also try to sell it on etsy as well unless you can make another quickly. Once your rep gets the smallest of blackmarks in the webfronts, it's killer to come back from.

For around $10/month after around $20 to buy a domain (cheaper or more spendy based off of how long you get it for), there is no reason not to have one. If you can operate a website, you can install something like wordpress on there and have a tight looking site in a few hours. Also, since you're going to have business cards (spend extra to get them from a boutique printer who uses more hand-madey looking papers or something else that looks crafty, include them in all of your orders as well as something like candy -- some people buy this kind of shit because of the experience, not because they give the slightest damn about crafts).

Hook up with another craft person to split the cost of a vendor booth at shit like concerts (if what you're making kinda fits with that) and festivals (or if you're making enough on your own, just get one yourself).

Aside from that, take some of your stuff to local stores that might possibly sell your stuff and see if you can get them to buy it (preferable) or to work out some sort of consignment deal.

If appropriate, things like farmers markets can work well too, as well as flea markets.
