Moto G retarded screen

Ok so heres the breakdown /diy/

Couple of months ago I lightly slammed my Moto G down on the face where the screen is and it immediately started looking like this..

My question is, how can I fix this? I've been using backup phones for the meantime but I really want to fix it, I heard it may be something like a loose LED/LCD cable or some shit like that? Any Advice?

Its probably a broken LCD, which probably means you need a full glass digitizer and LCD replacement

Pull the back off, and reseat the cable, but its probably not going to help.

It's a little odd that you acknowledge it may have a loose LCD cable but haven't opened it to check yet, I'd say that's obviously your next step. Did you need help getting it open or something?

I got a ratchet set from home depot that had several torx heads for super cheap. It was only a few bucks

I have one of these screwdriver sets that has a lot of security bits and I use it a lot, dunno if it would have the exact bit you're looking for.
