>>891473Do you realize how big a skull is?
A human skull has a volume of about 1.4 liters ,(so about 1 liter when the top of the cranium was removed by cutting the frontal & parietal bone like seen in the picture ), making it heave and impractical to drink from.
The only time you can use a skull to drink from is when you are sharing a drink with other people. Even then you should think about the fact that its pretty annoying to drink from a skull just because of the shape.
The sphenoid bone is the biggest problem since it shape will make it so that fluid will stay in there until you are almost done, at that time the skull is tilted so far upwards that it will start dripping in your face.
I would suggest you buy an anatomic replica and try it with that one first (fill the holes with wax), keep in mind that they are cut different from the picture you posted lowering the useful volume. If you were to make the one pictured and not use the standard way of cutting the skull you will be even more likely to spill.
I would not advise making this, it may seem cool but its really annoying to use. It will also be pretty expensive (300$+)
