I have an Xperia Z1, but I'm getting a Z5c in a couple of days.

Can I put this Z1 to good use somehow? It's basically a tiny capable computer with very low energy consumption.

top 1/6th part of the touchscreen, doesn't respond to touch anymore. Repairing this costs €140, which isn't worth it. I myself can still use the phone fully though (by just rotating the phone if I need to interact with the top part). LCD is undamaged though.

I won't get enough for it to justify the repair costs.

They make bt game controllers that SHOULD work for gaming. I have one myself, but hardly use it. Im just a gadget whore and wanted it.

I recently had a baby. Im going to use 1 of my many old Android phones as a baby video monitor. So you could also use it as a security/spy cam.

Hardwire it into your car and hide it somewhere, like behind dash. Install a gps tracking app on it and use it to track your car if ever stolen (or just be a creep and track someone else).
