Not sure if this belongs in /g/ or /diy/.
How do I achieve one of the situations in pic related.
Basically I just want to listen to raw data purely for entertainment/interest purposes.
So far the plan is something like this:
>Capture data with wireshark
>somehow import that data into audacity
>export as mp3
This would not be realtime tough
another way would be
>disassemble microphone
>solder one end of CAT5 cable to mircophone
>plug microphone into PC
>record with audacity
>playback at same time
Any solutions or people that can help me? What kind of encoding do I need to use to import raw data in Audacity? What should the byte-order be? what about the sample frequency?
