unless you are going to sew the mouth of the case around the rope i wouldn't bother. hole in the pillowcase will fuck it up. duct tape won't hold anything substantial. unless you make the whole bag out of it.

Yea I thought of that. I'm thinking maybe tie the rope to the corners then tape up the knots for strength and give it that leather stitched money bag look. I'm not keeping anything valuable in it and it's literally just for a night so the opening can just be taped for all I care.
