I was changing out a light fixture at my house today. I turned off the circuit, and went to test to make sure light would not turn on. And while doing that, I hit the switch next to it controlling a different light on the same circuit. That light made a sizzle and now it won't work.
The broken light is also controlled by a second switch, that runs on a seperate circuit. Could that have caused a problem, with one circuit being on and the other off?
I have very little electrical experience, and thought that since the circuit was off, there was no way this should of happened? Do you think the light fixture is dead now?
