Hey, /diy/!

After becoming a bit aggravated with a stuck bolt I decided to put a notch in the head of the bolt with my angle grinder to attempt to remove the bolt with a flat head. Which just snapped the head of the bolt clean off. I managed to strip the allen head and then attempted to use am Irwin extractor set which couldn't bite into the round head. Any tips and tricks to remove this bolt without special tools, like an ez out or vampliers?

I'd also go at it with a set of mole-grips or a pipe-wrench, just because they have been known to pull seized bolts when nothing else would.

That's been my thought thus far, just looking for a few more opinions. I have never drilled and retapped a bolt so I'm gonna leave that for plan B

Lucky for me, the set screw on my mole-grips is bent, but when I get home later I'll try and find another bolt to thread in and give that a go

If the multi grips don't work, you could try a left handed drill the rotation of the drill bit might free the bolt.

drill through the bolt as imaged, use something that will fit through the hole and give you some leverage.

So, you got a bolt stuck in a hole you have a picture of the bolt out of, then you snapped the head off, then you tried to use an extractor on the snapped off head? These posts make no sense.

Screw extractor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw_extractor

Get one (or a set) and the proper drill bits. Drill into center of bolt insert extractor and turn with appropriate tool.
