So, I recently moved out of my parents' house and have spent the last 4 months living in an apartment with my grillfriend. It's slowly killing me because I don't have my workshop (welding, cutting, grinding, hand tools, drill press, etc.).

My current annoyance is not having a vise. My plan is to buy a Harbor Freight vise and then... I have no idea what I'm going to attach it to. I'm thinking a piece of 3/4" plywood that I can stand on or put weight on.

Ideas?
