>>2937368The way I've always looked at it is that you're disrupting whatever everyone else was in here for by asking for a source. You can save everyone the trouble of reading your garbage by looking for it yourself, and you become better at searching for this sort of thing for later. Plus, you may only be inconveniencing one or two people now by having them answer your question, but if you keep asking in the future you'll keep interrupting more and more people.
Not to say that there's never a reason to ask for a source, but you should diligently search first. It's for everyone's benefit.
