I just edited the original SWF and replaced the 500KB with the 8MB. My program auto-compresses and it came out to ~6.3MB.

it handles it, but the milliseconds just blink between the numbers 9, 4, 1 i think. and yes, it's a crappy computer (the notebook) fortunely i have a more or less decent computer (stationary) which let me do basically what i want.
