I think it'd be better with the third announcement without the stupid text, just the intro, static, and the shot of the moon. It would let you linger and reflect on the messages from the second PSA, as well as show complete seizure of control, and the danger to the viewer.

I think what makes this so creepy to me is the sounds those broadcast alerts would make. Those always freaked me the fuck out as a kid.

Hearing the screams really make what's going on sink in, I think.
