Your body and face, while not things you can change like clothing, are very much evident in how people see you and how your outfit looks on you. I'd rather not encourage someone in the pursuit of a style that doesn't become them. I'd rather see their face and recommend something that might look better on them.
An easy example is the trip OiOi. He decided he wanted to look like a skinhead so he dressed in huge boots and suspenders and shit but he's scrawny, has a fat face, and looks bad with a shaved head and hence, looked ridiculous. Changing the color of his suspenders isn't gonna help.
