I have a couple of their $6 tees. They're thin as fuck, the stitching on them around the shoulders is kinda ugly and my black one fits tighter around the arms than my white one. They're soft though, and $6 so what the hell.

They're 12.50 every sale. I work there. The pima stretch tee shirts are the best if you want a fitting tee shirt and are fit, not scrawny.

The regular pimas are boxy, which is what some of you scrawny guys go for.

Hm tees are bad because they don't properly align the threads at the seams. This causes them to bacon, and they will bacon after the first wash.

They are poor quality. They lose their shape after a few washes and the material gets little holes and starts peeling.

Get some Continental clothing T shirt instead. They also offer a lot of different cuts.

Haha this isnt true, yea theyre made in factories but the working conditions are good nowadays, theyre not slaves. Most of them are grateful to have jobs. Sure its not up to american standards but its not the 90's anymore, these people are treated decently

Yea that one time there was a fire, it was really sad. But they werent kids, thats a lie. And that doesnt mean the working conditions are bad, it means it either wasnt properly inspected or an accident happened. Picturing thousands of 8 yr olds crammed into a shithole and forced to work is completely wrong

It's well documented that child workers are used, they lie about their age to get jobs and nobody bats an eye at it because they don't care. Sure it's not like 5 - 8 year olds, but there are definitely kids age 11 and up spending 16+ hours a day sewing clothes to make a mere 10 dollars a day (if they're lucky)

Actually, I have found H&M t-shirts to be pretty decent. Until you wash them, that is. The second wash is pretty decent, but even on low temp it makes the colour fade awfully quickly. The third was though, the t-shit just turns to shit, no matter whether you iron it or not. Crumply, bad quality shirts. Weekday shirts are way better (even the 12,- ones)

They literally have no other options, there are multiple factories all over the world and each one is usually in a very poor country, so h&m (basically) tells the factory "make these shirts for 50 cents a piece, or were going to this other factory who will"

The cost for the factories doesn't go down, but the cost for h&m does, leading to worse materials and horrible conditions

I pay at most like $80, always sales. I love getting different weights/blends/cuts of tees for different seasons.

Right now its all about thick shit, got a few by a brand Howlin, made in Belgium. Fantastic cut, and awesome heavy knit. Also got a few Norse Project tees that were labelled as sweaters, but they're almost the weight of a referee jersey or something... either way fun shit for layering and warmth in boxier cuts for winter.
