I was a wrestler and they always told be not to wear them around because they would wear.
They're made for wrestling mats, and they're soft on the bottom, so they would probably deteriorate pretty quickly walking on concrete.

comes down to the fact that those soles are gonna die real fast if you're wearing the shoes on a daily basis in urban environments. i used to wrestle in high school and had a pair of these. super thin and flimsy, kinda only meant for the mat...

As street shoes those things are gonna get wrecked fast

yea op those soles arent made for walking around they'd wear down pretty quickly. so if you want to go for it but they wont last long

I swear I saw a kid on campus wearing these as regular shoes. I had to double-take and figure out what was wrong with them. The silhouette isn't terrible, but as a runner, the closest thing I can compare it to is wearing track spikes or xc flats as regular shoes-- something I've also seen worn by uninformed individuals shopping sale racks and jumping at anything with a swoosh on it.

Basically it's gonna look completely ridiculous to anyone that knows what they actually are.
