whats wrong with getting straight? maybe its because its H&M but i got these chinos that are suctioned to my skin and they're not very comfortable. maybe i got skinny by accident and not slim but still...

I buy denim based off the look of the cloth.

When I try them on I only care about how they fit around my ass/waist (am a guy, I realize this can be misleading)

Then I get them tailored to fit exactly how I want them.

Problem solved until my seamstress dies.

i would also recommend looking for trousers with a high rise since they're so abundant amongst straight pants

it will help accentuate your v taper if you're not too averse to tucking in your shirt
