>>10544385>are CP's worth the money? are they 'quality' ?It depends on your perspective.
On one hand, they - and shoes of their caliber, of which there are plenty - are made well. The leather is nice, the construction is nice, and the profile is exactly what you'd really want it to be. There are some complaints to be made if you're looking for them, but whatever, that applies to all shoes.
On the other hand, it's totally dependent on your definition of "worth it." If dropping $300 on a pair of shoes is something you can do without even really being concerned with the status of your savings, yeah, go for it. On the other hand, if you find yourself having to actively save for them, I think it'd be a bit silly to get them over something more moderately priced.
The problem with a lot of posters on here who buy CPs is that they consider them an ~investment~ and obsess over stuff like creasing and marking on the leather. That's silly. Like any good pair of $300+ dress shoes, CPs aren't bulletproof, and they'll wear out eventually. If you can't stomach your $300 wearing out after a few years, they aren't the shoes for you.
