/fa/ is it worth it to try to sneak nerdy things into my wardrobe or should I stop myself from buying anything that shows my power levels?

I wore a bull market tie and I don't even work in finance. I just like the tie and have a passive interest in the market. Same thing.

That being said, novelty merchandise like the stuff you plan on picking up is probably incredibly low quality. I almost purchased a tie with Mario on it once until I felt it. It was basically paper. Walmart ties were probably a step up from it. If that's okay with you though, go for it. Just don't expect it to last very long.

I buy fun ties because they're good conversation starters. I work at the headquarters of a grocery store chain and I'm constantly either on other floors doing stuff or going out to different branches and making reports from there. Grocery stores are filled with attractive girls around my age and you'd be surprised by how many I've met because they liked the way I dress. A lot of them are fuck ups considering they're 25 and working in a grocery store, but I meet a fair amount that are just there because they're paying their way through school or recently graduated and can't find employment.

Just buy a triforce t shirt and wear it when you don't care about looking good. There's nothing wrong with dressing lazy every once in a while but trying to combine stuff like this into an actual outfit is most likely not going to work.
