kalverstraat, nieuwendijk and leidsestraat for your basic high street fashion
pc hooftstraat (and the area surrounding vondelpark) for designer boutiques, if youre interested in more upscale stuff, go to de bijenkorf, its the dutch harrods/galeries lafayette. flooded with russian and asian new money tho
the 9 straatjes (nine streets) are small streets located around the canals, there are a lot of unique/vintage shops. lots of people like it but imo its overpriced hipster stuff generally
in the neighbourhood 'de pijp' you can find some pretty unique shops, i'd definitely check the neighbourhood
these are the main shopping places to check out in amsterdam, but i'd definitely just walk around the city and go anywhere you like, it's pretty easy to get around on foot, or rent a bike at the station if you don't feel like walking all day. i wouldn't leave the inner city, the canal district, de pijp and oud-zuid if i were u because the rest of amsterdam is literally shit
