my gf can, for example, not wash her hair for 2 weeks and it still smells like flowers and looks like mine 3 hours after a shower

me on the other hand, I can't go a day without a shower or I'm a gross grease ball.

Havent actively shampooed for a year now. Hair looks great even though using product on a daily basis. A few months in my head suddenly started to be ridiculously dry and the dandruff that I fought with anti dandruff shampoo came back. Or at least the itchy scalp did. Have been using coconut oil 1-2 times weekly ever since and seen great improvements. Unfortunately I need to use normal shampoo to get rid of that shit afterwards, but sure as hell better than anti dandruff shampoo for now. Hopefully I can abandon shampoo again soon.

no poo is only for certain hairtypes, mostly thick curly hair. Find a sulfate free shampoo, and youll be fine. Sulfates are what causes dryness, buil-up, etc.
