I just though about starting to wear skinny jeans and I'm 29. I used to play rugby before and had way too big quads to wear them before. Since I quit rugby, I've slimmed down to my "normal" weight and back to otter mode.

You can't even find casual and dress trousers with a high fit anymore. The best you'll be able to do is an inch or two higher than wear your typical jeans sit.

Have you ever been inside an office...or hell, a mall. That is (minus the tie in most cases though) absolutely business casual. As is the polo and chino bullshit most companies push for these days. You'll probably counter with some #menswear bunk, but if you actually wore that to work, everyone would be asking you why you're so dressed up.

I spent a lot of time in my dad's office as a kid (Fortune 300 company) and they're BizCas 4 days a week. The guys uniform is dress slacks and a dress shirt without a tie. It rarely looks good but that's the reality. Most of my days at work this summer were suit and tie but when we went Business Casual I modeled the look after that (Most days was a blue/white patterned shirt, chinos and penny loafers. boring I know but that's reality of being a faceless drone)

I have no idea what you mean by "too old." Well-fitted jeans are always going to be in style, too-skinny or too-baggy jeans are always going to look either excessively trendy or dated, depending on whatever oscillation in the fashion market we're in at the time.

As for the whole "high fit" thing, if you mean pants that aren't low-rise, there are plenty, even mediocre places like J.Crew and Banana Republic sell them.
